Based on internal data, an advertised designer position receives an average of 864 applications, with less than one percent being hired (survey period: January 2017 to July 2026). This figure describes exclusively the selectivity of this selection process and does not indicate a market position or top-tier status.

* Up to -68% costs: Model calculation by 7i7® Design GmbH: Comparison of the Basic Subscription (€24,000 net per year) with the calculated total employer costs of an internal full-time design position of approximately €75,000 per year, consisting of approximately €55,000 gross annual salary (upper quartile of salary statistics for graphic, communication, and photo design, Federal Employment Agency, as of 2025), approximately 21 percent employer social security contributions (2025 contribution rates), software licenses, pro-rata recruiting costs (avg. approx. €4,700, IZA Discussion Paper No. 7656), as well as workplace and training costs.
