Steven Jan

Steven Jan is a graphic designer at 7i7® who manages projects from initial concept to final print approval, covering everything from print and digital media to social media and branding, often for multiple clients simultaneously. His strength lies in his intentional approach as a generalist: he develops a logo, creates the corresponding stationery, lays out the magazine, and provides the necessary social media assets all at once. For clients, this means a consistent visual identity without the need for endless feedback loops. Steven is particularly proud of "Anwurf," the matchday magazine for SV Todesfelde in the 2nd Handball Bundesliga, for which he completely rebuilt the cover, grid, tables, schedule, and ad spaces. He found the blend of design and system particularly appealing, as a new issue is released for every home game that must be quick and easy to populate. His style is clean without being sterile, and always structured so that others can easily maintain it later. Instead of using placeholder text, he works with real copy and images from the start. When Steven isn't at his computer, he plays tennis with great ambition, walks his dog, or watches football. He describes his work in three words: listen, build, refine.
